The Largest Mobile Testing Fleet in Canada
A.A. Audio Lab maintains the largest fleet of modern dual-booth Industrial Hearing Testing mobile trucks in Canada, providing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our Technicians
We have a total of 13 WorkSafeBC trained and certified technicians. Our technicians are responsible for driving the hearing testing trucks to the job site, filling out necessary forms, setting up noise monitors, conducting hearing tests, and counseling employees on their results.
Duties of an Audiometric Technician
- • Perform the hearing test
- • Categorize test results
- • Counsel workers on hearing state
- • Compare results to previous tests
- • Advise on appropriate hearing protection
- • Submit paperwork to WorkSafeBC
- • Maintain audiometric equipment
- • Interpret hearing test statistics
- • Assist companies with Hearing Conservation Programs
Noise Measurement Survey Technician
Our Noise Survey Technician has completed the Noise course (OCHS 3352) under BCIT's Occupational Health & Safety Program, qualifying them to provide expert opinions on both Noise Level and Noise Exposure Surveys. They also provide Employee Education Seminars and Annual Reviews, which are part of the WCB Hearing Conservation Program requirements.
