1. Services

A.A. Audio Lab Ltd ("A.A. Audio Lab", "we", "us") provides industrial audiometric testing, noise measurement surveys, hearing protection fittings, employee education seminars, and annual hearing conservation program review services to employers and organizations in British Columbia.

All hearing testing services are conducted by WorkSafeBC-authorized Industrial Audiometric Technicians in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation (OHS Reg) Part 7 — Noise Exposure.

2. Bookings & Scheduling

Service bookings are confirmed upon agreement of schedule and scope. Clients may reschedule or cancel appointments with reasonable notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled testing may be subject to a cancellation fee.

On-site testing requires the client to provide a suitable location for the mobile testing unit, including safe access and adequate space for the testing booth (if applicable).

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients (employers) are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate worker rosters and scheduling information
  • Ensuring workers are available for testing as scheduled
  • Providing a safe work environment for our technicians
  • Maintaining hearing conservation program documentation as required by OHS Reg 7.5
  • Keeping records of hearing test results as required by OHS Reg 7.9

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due as agreed upon in the service contract or invoice. Late payments may be subject to interest charges. Clients are responsible for all applicable taxes.

5. Data Handling & Reporting

Hearing test results are submitted to WorkSafeBC as required by OHS Regulation 7.8(3). Clients may access test results through the WorkSafeBC employer portal or by contacting us. We retain records in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability

A.A. Audio Lab provides services with reasonable care and skill. Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to failure to identify hearing loss, misinterpretation of test results, or employer non-compliance with OHS regulations.

7. Intellectual Property

All reports, documentation, and materials provided as part of our services are for the client's internal use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without our written consent.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

9. Website Use
